Some are thick, some are pink
Some are recycled wood.
Feels like a newborn puppy.
Usually looks like a square.
Sometimes feels like air.
Smells like plastic or wood.
But sometimes it smells pretty good.

You can write in them,
Draw in them
Make beautiful art in them.
And, dare I say,
Do work in them!!

Sounds like a woodpecker,
Pecking on solid steel.
Sometimes aggravating,
But it hold assorted items pretty well.
